Carnival Valor, built in 2004, returned from two weeks in dry dock to sport many of the same fun and tasty dining venues that are onboard most of the other Carnival ships.

Carnival Valor Refurbishment Adds New Dining Options
Some of my favorite additions include Guy’s Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Cantina, and the Alchemy Bar. Candy lovers will get a kick out of Cherry on Top where they can buy in bulk old-time candy, candy gifts and themed souvenirs.

Guy’s Burger Joint
Guy Fieri’s complimentary burgers and fries served outdoors by the main pool. Tons of burger toppings and sauces to choose.
RedFrog Rum Bar
Poolside bar serving Caribbean rum-based frozen drinks and beers, including Carnival’s own creation, ThirstyFrog Red.
BlueIguana Tequila Bar
A Mexican-themed outdoor bar featuring tequila-based frozen drinks and beers.
BlueIguana Cantina
Also poolside, a complimentary Mexican buffet with freshly made burritos and tacos on homemade tortillas, as well as a toppings and salsa bar.
RedFrog Pub
A fun meeting place, the RedFrog Pub serves tropical drinks as well as ThirstyFrog Red. Live music entertains at various times of day.
Alchemy Bar
The bartender, dressed in faux pharmacy garb concocts all sorts of retro cocktails as well as your own creations.

Right now sailing from Port Canaveral, the 2,980 passenger Carnival Valor is doing three-, four-night Bahamas itineraries and five-night cruises that include Amber Cover and Grand Turk or Bahamas and Half Moon Cay private islands.
In October, the Carnival Valor will begin alternating three- and four-night cruises from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas, all the way until April 29, 2018. The three-night cruise departs on Thursdays and the four-night cruise leaves Port Canaveral on Sundays.
The updated Carnival Valor is one of three ships sailing year-round from Port Canaveral. Seasonally, the beautiful Carnival Sunshine returns for five-, seven- and eight-night Caribbean cruises.
