Cunard Deals Offer Free Drinks and Reduced Deposit
If a Cunard cruise has been on your bucket list, you might want to take a look at their latest promotion. I can’t remember seeing something like this with Cunard. Here are the details:
Free “Drinks On Us” Package
The Drinks On Us package offer applies only to guests reserving a balcony stateroom, Princess Grill Suite or Queens Grill Suite. And…only certain voyages apply to this promotion. You can check the applicable sailings HERE
The Free Drinks Package offer applies to all drinks $12 and under. As with most cruise line drink packages, drinks under this promotion can be purchased and consumed free of charge only by the participant. Anyone under 18 years of age may only purchase non-alcoholic drinks on this promotion, when accompanied by someone over 21 yrs.
Gratuities of 15% are applied towards all bar orders and will be included under this promotion for all drinks. Of course extra tipping is gladly welcomed by service staff. Offer expires August 31, 2017.
The Drinks on Us offer applies to new bookings only. The offer features:
- 7-night Northern Europe Balcony fares from $1,149
- 7-night Mediterranean Balcony fares from $1,699
- 7-night Transatlantic Crossing Balcony fares from $1,699

Reduced Deposits
Cunard is also offering a $200 deposit until August 31, 2017. Bookings made under this promotion are non-refundable. Totally non-refundable; you can’t change the ship or date of travel. Deposit is required within three days of reservation and does not apply to bookings made within final payment.
Singles are eligible for the Drinks On Us program…and will pay the going rate for the stateroom single supplement.
The lowest category that is eligible for the comp drinks is a DB Balcony. This is the see-through balcony but the view is obstructed to some degree. Next higher are the sheltered balconies, my favorite, especially on winter transatlantic crossings.
