Royal Caribbean just took cruise experiences to the next level. The cruise line partnered with Campari Group for a special event at Perfect Day at CocoCay. This was the first time these companies brought branded experiences to Royal Caribbean’s private island.

A First-of-Its-Kind Island Experience

The special event happened during Royal Caribbean’s 2025 President’s Cruise in late September. Guests got to enjoy unique experiences at two popular spots on the island. Oasis Lagoon and Hideaway Beach were completely transformed for the occasion.

The areas got a fresh new look inspired by two popular drink brands. Aperol and Espolòn Tequila took center stage during this island makeover. The result was something cruise guests had never seen before.

Royal Caribbean‘s 2025 President’s Cruise was a unique occasion to bring our brands to life in an exclusive setting,” said Biancamaria Sansone from Campari Group. She leads global marketing for the company’s travel retail division.

Sansone explained that this event was about more than just selling drinks. The partnership aimed to create special moments for travelers. It was about “extending our activations beyond the ship with a destination takeover that immersed travellers in their spirit.”

Aperol Takes Over Paradise

This wasn’t Campari Group’s first time working with Royal Caribbean. Last year, they created experiences onboard the Oasis of the Seas. But this was their first time bringing the party to the island itself.

Aperol’s bright, colorful branding appeared all over CocoCay. DJ booths, pool bars, and chill-out zones got the Aperol treatment. The transformation brought the brand’s refreshed visual identity to the tropical setting.

Adults-Only Fun at Hideaway Beach

Hideaway Beach is CocoCay’s adults-only area. This exclusive spot got some extra special treatment during the event. Guests found an Aperol truck waiting for them on the beach.

Mobile bars popped up around the area too. There were also gifting stations where guests could pick up branded items. Photo opportunities were set up throughout the space for those perfect vacation shots.

Espolòn Tequila Makes Its Debut

Espolòn Tequila joined the party for the first time during this event. The tequila brand set up shop at Hideaway Beach’s On The Rocks Bar. Guests could try special drinks made with the premium tequila.

“Aperol played a central role in proving once again its magic in bringing people together across any occasion, while Espolòn Tequila added a bold and distinctive edge to the island experience,” Sansone explained.

The partnership focused on creating lasting memories for cruise guests. Espolòn Tequila offered photo opportunities designed for social media sharing. Guests also received branded caps and sunglasses as keepsakes from their island experience.
