Royal Caribbean Cuba Cruises from Tampa Continue Through 2018-19

If Cuba is on your close-in cruise list and you’re a Royal Caribbean fan or just happen to live near Tampa, you’re in luck. Royal Caribbean Cuba cruises aboard the Empress of the Seas will sail a total of 58 Cuba cruises from Tampa with 4- or 5-night itineraries from January 2018 through March 2019. Of the 58 cruises to Cuba, more than half offer overnight stays in Havana.

“Since arriving in Cuba for the first time last month, we’ve seen the excitement of our guests when sailing into Havana and the passion they have for the city at sail away – its people, its architecture, its food, its music. This is the enthusiasm we strive to bring to adventure-seekers who vacation with us,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International.

Empress of the Seas will return to Tampa for summer 2018, offering a series of 4- and 5-night cruises, calling on Key West, Florida, and Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, as well as Havana, Cuba on most sailings. Then in winter 2018-19, Empress of the Seas will reposition to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida offering mostly 4-, 5- and 6-night Caribbean cruises.

  1. Hi Angie,
Thank you for your comment but sorry, I am not a travel agent. You’ll either have to work with a travel agent or contact the cruise lines directly for an answer to your question. I’m sure you will be able to find the right cruise. Thanks again.

  2. Inquiring about a 4 or 5 night cruise out of Tampa to Key West and Havana Cuba, or direct to Havana.
Is there such an opportunity for the last week in November or the 1st or 2nd week in December?

  3. Hi Jo,
You need to contact a travel agent or Royal Caribbean. I’m sure there is space available for Thanksgiving on one of their ships.

  4. Hi James,

Your best bet is to contact a travel agent who can answer your questions and check availability for you. If you have time, you might want to go the websites for Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian and Azamara as those cruise lines have several choices for cruises to Cuba, especially in April.

    Thanks for your email.

  5. My husband and I are interested in a cruise from Tampa to Havana in May or June 2018. Preferably a 5 night
