Norwegian Cruise Line Unveils Exciting 2027-28 Season with Enhanced Free at Sea Plus

Norwegian Cruise Line just dropped some incredible news for cruise lovers. The cruise line revealed its 2027-28 winter season lineup. Plus, they’re bringing back the popular Free at Sea Plus package with even better perks.

Over 370 Sailings to Amazing Destinations

The new season packs a punch with more than 370 different cruises. You’ll find trips focusing on the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, and Mexican Riviera. Norwegian is also sailing to Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

These cruises range from quick two-night getaways to epic 22-night adventures. The ships will visit 144 different destinations across 47 countries. All sailings take place between September 2027 and April 2028.

More Time to Explore Each Port

Norwegian Cruise Line designed this season for travelers who want deeper experiences. Ships will spend an average of 9.5 hours in each port. The cruise line scheduled 71 late departures across 31 different ports.

Even better, 70 cruises include overnight stays in port. This gives you more time to “immerse themselves in the culture and vibrancy of each destination,” according to Norwegian.

Departure Ports Across America

The cruise line is making it easier to sail from your home region. Two Prima-class ships will sail from Puerto Rico for the first time. Seven ships will depart from various Florida ports throughout the season.

Philadelphia gets year-round cruise service, which is great news for East Coast travelers. Norwegian will also offer cruises from Galveston and New Orleans. West Coast cruisers can catch Mexican Riviera trips from Los Angeles.

Two ships will be stationed in the Pacific region. These vessels will handle cruises to the Far East, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

“With longer port stays, overnight calls, and our award-winning onboard experiences, guests can explore at their own pace and personalize every moment with ease,” he added.

Great Stirrup Cay Gets Major Upgrades

Many Caribbean and Bahamas cruises will stop at Great Stirrup Cay. Norwegian’s private island is getting some exciting new features. The destination will feature a new pier and a new heated pool.

The biggest addition is the Great Tides Waterpark. This new attraction will give families even more reasons to love Norwegian’s private island experience.

Free at Sea Plus Returns with Better Value
