Freestyle Cruising kicks it up a notch with premium open bar.
Beginning January 2016, Norwegian Sky guests won’t be nickel and dimed every time they order a beer, cocktail or a glass of wine. Unlimited premium spirits, cocktails, wine by the glass and bottled or draft beer valued up to $11 are all included.
“We’re taking Freestyle Cruising to the next level to provide our guests with an experience unmatched by any other contemporary cruise line,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief operating officer for Norwegian Cruise Line. “Norwegian Sky guests will have the freedom to enjoy a cruise vacation the way they desire-whether it’s lounging by the pool with a margarita, having a laugh at a comedy show, catching up on their favorite book on their balcony, or indulging in fine dining- all included in their cruise fare.”
The Norwegian Sky, built in 1999 and accommodates 2,004 based on double-occupancy, is a small ship by today’s standards. At only 77,000+ gross tons and with 12 bars and lounges, you won’t have to walk very far to get a drink.
Itineraries include 3-night cruises head to Nassau and a day at Norwegian’s Private Island on Great Stirrup Cay. The 4-night cruise does the same plus a day in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island.
The Norwegian Sky features 13 dining options, two pools, five hot tubs, an onboard spa, casino and children’s programs. Want to save more money? There are complimentary dining options that include two main dining rooms, a sprawling buffet plus several casual cafés and snack options.
