It’s not too early to start planning your Alaska cruise for 2022. On Monday, Celebrity Cruises unveiled their newest Alaska cruise schedule for 2022.
Celebrity Cruises in Alaska 2022 – Longest Season Ever
Cruises to Alaska are schedule to begin in early May for Celebrity’s earliest-ever Alaska season. There’s something special about being on one of the first cruises of an Alaska season. Majestic mountains are still covered in snow, small port towns are emptier and shop owners aren’t burned out on over-anxious tourists. I love the early season in The Last Frontier. Alaska is just waking up after a long winter’s sleep.
In case you are not familiar with cruising Alaska, all Celebrity cruises meander along the scenic Inside Passage. It’s Alaska’s maritime highway.

Celebrity Pacific Coastal cruising returns in 2022
Celebrity also offers a unique Pacific Coastal itinerary aboard the recently refurbished Celebrity Millennium. The ship departs from Vancouver, British Columbia, with stops in Victoria, Canada; Astoria, Oregon; San Francisco; Santa Barbara; and Catalina Island, ending in Los Angeles.
Celebrity’s 2022 Alaska season offers three unique itineraries
- Roundtrip from Vancouver aboard Celebrity Eclipse on 7-night itineraries to Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Ketchikan and either Sitka or Icy Strait Point. You can add a post-cruise land tour to the Canadian Rockies to this itinerary.
- Roundtrip from Seattle aboard Celebrity Solstice on 7-night cruises that include a day sailing to Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier. Also included are stops in Victoria, Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan.
- Cruise one-way aboard Celebrity Millennium offers the opportunity to see a little more of Alaska by sea with 7-night, open-ended itineraries between Vancouver and Seward, one of the region’s oldest and most scenic communities at the gateway to northern Alaska. An exciting multi-night Cruisetour can be added to these sailings to journey deeper into the heart of Alaska or the Canadian Rockies.
Celebrity Cruisetour Choices
All 2022 Celebrity Alaska Cruisetours are from 9 to 13 nights and include a visit to Denali, the highest mountain peak in North America. You’ll board the Wilderness Express done train for your ride to Denali National Park. Alaska Cruisetours can be added pre- or post-sailing.
The Canadian Rockies Cruisetours visit Banff National Park, picturesque Lake Louise, a stop at Calgary and remote Jasper.
Every Celebrity cruise will feature their new “Always Included” experience with complimentary Wifi, drinks and tips.
