Carnival Cruise Line Expands Adults-Only Cruises
Carnival Cruise Line is doing something a little different — and adults-only cruisers are taking notice.
Carnival Is Expanding Its Adults-Only SEA Cruises in 2026
Carnival Cruise Line is known for welcoming families and guests of all ages. But there’s a special program quietly growing that’s just for adults. It’s called Sailings Exclusively for Adults, or SEA cruises.

Carnival recently added four new SEA sailings on the Carnival Firenze. These cruises depart from Long Beach, California, between October 12 and November 20, 2026. The itineraries feature stops along the Mexican Riviera.
How Big Is the SEA Program Getting?
In 2026, Carnival will run a total of 22 SEA cruises. The ships involved include the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, and Carnival Glory. Departure ports include Miami, Port Canaveral, Long Beach, and Singapore.
According to Carnival, “SEA Cruises are designed to offer a more relaxed, adults-only atmosphere with elevated dining, entertainment, and onboard experiences. Carnival Firenze will also expand SEA Cruise options on the West Coast.”
What Makes SEA Cruises Special?
These aren’t your average sailings. SEA cruises include themed parties, more casino access, and elevated onboard experiences. All passengers must be 21 or older to sail.
The program first launched in 2025. Since then, demand has been strong. Carnival noted that these sailings “do sell out quickly.”
How Do You Get Invited?
Here’s the catch — you can’t just search for these cruises and book them like a regular sailing. SEA cruises are invite-only.
According to Carnival’s website, “If you qualify, you’ll receive your SEA Cruise invitation directly in your inbox. (You’ll also be able to find it in your personalized offers.) This grants you access to explore an exclusive selection of eligible sailings.”
Carnival has not revealed exactly how it decides who gets an invitation. The cruise line also hasn’t shared starting prices for these sailings.
What This Means for Adult Cruisers
If you’re a Carnival loyalist, it’s worth keeping an eye on your email and your personal offers section. That’s where your invitation would show up if you qualify. The expansion to the West Coast is a big deal for cruisers on the Pacific side of the country.
With 22 sailings planned and more ships joining the program, Carnival is clearly investing in the adults-only cruising experience. Whether you’re looking for a quieter vibe or a more grown-up party atmosphere, SEA cruises seem to offer a solid middle ground.
