Oceania Cruises to Restart in Europe Summer 2021

Slowly but surely, cruise lines are forging their own paths to resume cruising. Oceania Cruises, known for its culinary and destination immersion, announced Oceania Marina will resume summer 2021 cruises in Europe.

Oceania Marina resumes cruises in Europe this summer

The 1,250-passenger Marina will set sail in August from Copenhagen. The itineraries include cruises to Scandinavia and Western Europe. Also offered on this sailing is Oceania Cruises’ “OLife”, the cruise line’s limited-time inclusive package that features free roundtrip airfare, complimentary WiFi plus the choice of one of these amenities: 

  • Six shore excursions
  • Beverage Package
  • $600 shipboard credit

The added amenities are per stateroom. For example, if choosing the $600 shipboard credit, it’s per stateroom, not per person.

Oceania Marina Summer 2021 Itinerary

Departing from Copenhagen, Marina on August 29, 2021, the ship will visit eight ports before arriving at its destination in Stockholm, Sweden on September 8, 2021. Ports visited include: Berlin (port of Rostock), Ronne (Bornholm, Denmark), Gdansk (Gdynia, Poland), then directly into Klaipeda, Lithuania; Riga, Latvia; Tallinn, Estonia; St. Petersburg Russia (2 nights); Helsinki, Finland and finally Stockholm, Sweden. 

Oceania Marina spends at least eight hours in each port except of course for the 35-hours in St. Petersburg.

What Oceania Cruises is Doing for Health and Safety

Oceania Cruises is working on a phased restart that’s guided by science to reach a healthy return to service to protect passengers and crew as well as the ports visited. Called the, “SailSAFEโ„ข Health and Safety Program” it was developed with guidance from their team of public health and scientific experts including the Healthy Sail Panel and the SailSAFE Global Health and Wellness Council.

“At Oceania Cruises, we value health, well-being and safety above all else. Our guests, our crew, and, of course, the many amazing, dedicated people who work with us in the destinations we travel to are the very lifeblood of our business and we’ll do everything in our power to safeguard their health and safety,” stated Binder.

The protocols developed and implemented will continuously evolve and be fine-tuned using the best available science and technology.

OceaniaNEXT Enhancements

When Oceania Marina resumes cruising in August 2021, enhancements to the ship’s culinary experience, interiors and onboard service will be completed. Part of the dining changes include new menus and new dining experiences. 

Refurbishments included in the fleet-wide $100 million enhancement extend to public areas, staterooms, coffee bars plus a unique multi-course Dom Perignon tasting menu.

Oceania Cruises will gradually release 2021 departure dates for their remaining ships as it gets closer to the sailing date.
