Calling all Marvel fans! The Disney Destiny, the newest ship from Disney Cruise Line, is set to sail in November 2025, offering exciting new ways to interact with the Marvel Universe that you won’t find anywhere else—on land, at sea, or even across the multiverse!
This heroes and villains-themed cruise will unveil brand-new spaces and experiences featuring Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Here’s a sneak peek at five unmissable Marvel-inspired attractions coming to the Disney Destiny:
1. The Grand Hall
The stunning Grand Hall will be inspired by the rich lore, unique designs, and vibrant colors of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” films. This eye-catching space will be the first thing guests see onboard the Disney Destiny, welcoming them to a world of epic contrasts: heroes and villains, adventure and relaxation.
Designed with insights from the “Black Panther” costume team, this space features pillars with metalwork inspired by Wakanda’s banded armor and jewelry. A mesmerizing light fixture inspired by Vibranium will fill the room with dazzling effects, bringing it to life.
Overseeing the Grand Hall will be a magnificent statue of T’Challa, the Black Panther: King of Wakanda, dedicated son, and beloved brother sworn to protect his kingdom – and the Disney Destiny.
2. The Sanctum
The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange,” will feature magical items essential for protecting the world. This centrally located venue will host entertainment, offer a magical array of cocktails, spirits, and coffees, and present unique surprises from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, including a circular mirror behind the bar reminiscent of the building’s iconic window.
3. Spider-Man Stern Character
For the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, a Marvel Super Hero will be the signature stern character on the Disney Destiny. This oversized sculpture will showcase Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots as they make a well-meaning, albeit haphazard, attempt at decorating the filigree on the ship’s back with their infamous webs.
4. Destiny Tower Suite (Tony Stark would approve!)
The Destiny Tower Suite will be a Marvel-inspired penthouse that honors Iron Man’s mighty legacy with a luxurious take on Tony Stark’s sleek, industrial designs. The suite will feature armor-like materials and mechanical elements balanced by soft, inviting finishes, creating an opulent experience exclusive to the Disney Destiny.
Located high in the ship’s forward funnel, this unique suite will offer amazing views of the top deck and beyond through a sprawling two-story window. With nearly 2,000 square feet, the Destiny Tower Suite will comfortably sleep eight guests and feature designated areas for dining, sleeping, and playing, plus amenities like a full kitchen and a private ensuite elevator.
5. Saga
Conveniently situated off the Grand Hall on decks four and five, guests can craft their own vacation legend at Saga, a central hub for family activities during the day and adult-exclusive entertainment by night. This two-story, state-of-the-art venue will host interactive shows and events, drawing inspiration from Wakanda’s architecture.
And because we couldn’t stop at just five …
Bonus! Worlds of Marvel and Marvel Super Hero Academy
The Disney Destiny will also feature two guest-favorite experiences from the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, inspired by the Marvel Universe.
In Disney’s Oceaneer Club, kids ages 3 to 10 can become heroes of their own epic adventures at Marvel Super Hero Academy, a high-tech Avengers headquarters where young “recruits” are trained to be the next generation of Super Heroes alongside some of their favorite Avengers.
