Princess Cruises has announced their new 2019-2020 Mexico cruises. With an emphasis on new culinary choices both onboard and ashore plus new entertainment and shore excursion options, Princess is back full force to its old stomping grounds. Mexico has long been a cruise destination for Princess Cruises.

Princess Cruises Mexico cruises will return to some of the most popular ports including Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlàn and Cabo San Lucas.

In 2019-2020, Royal Princess will cruise a full season to Mexico from its new homeport in Los Angeles. Royal Princess, one of Princess Cruises newer ships, has planned 27 cruises from Los Angeles that include seven-day Mexico cruises with longer port stays and an overnight in Cabo San Lucas on each shorter five-day Cabo San Lucas Getaway cruise.

Princess Cruises’ Grand Princess offers year-round cruises from San Francisco. The only ship with year-round departures from the city by the bay, Grand Princess Mexico cruises feature 10-day itineraries beginning in 2019.

Star Princess returns to the west coast in 2019 for more Mexico cruises. With round-trip departures from Los Angeles, itineraries feature 10-day Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez cruises. An overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas is also planned.

As the only cruise line to sail year-round out of San Francisco, Princess also offers Grand Princess roundtrip 10-day Mexico cruises in 2019. Star Princess will make her return to the west coast in 2019 as well, featuring 10-day Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortez with roundtrip departures out of Los Angeles with an overnight in Cabo San Lucas.

Bill Esparza, noted author and leading expert on Latin American cuisine, along with Princess Cruises, created the new enhanced shore excursions for the Mexican Riviera that takes guests off the beaten path. Culinary shore excursions explores the local flavors Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.

Onboard, onboard activities include live mariachi performances, an authentic Mexican buffet, culinary demonstration, a margarita-making demonstration, tequila tastings, local arts and crafts and a colorful Mexican Fiesta event.
