The ship already had some impressive features announced. Now, MSC has added a whole new lineup of family entertainment to the mix.
Why Families Should Be Excited
MSC Cruises is putting families front and center with this new ship. The cruise line’s VP of Entertainment, Steve Leatham, shared why this matters:
“As a family-owned company, MSC Cruises knows what it takes to keep the whole family happy on holiday, with tailored family entertainment activities and facilities for guests of all ages.”
He went on to say: “Onboard MSC World Asia, family entertainment will reach new heights — bigger, bolder and more innovative than ever. Featuring our widest range of programs yet, alongside immersive, interactive and personalized experiences for everyone from toddlers to teens, families can expect truly extraordinary moments at sea.”
New Family Entertainment Highlights
MSC Luna Park Arena
This venue takes gaming to a whole new level. The entire floor transforms into an interactive arena. Guests can also enjoy three original game shows: Code Breakers, Labyrinth, and Chart Toppers.
The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse brings fresh programming for younger cruisers. Highlights include a new pop-up concept called Extra Record Live, MasterChef at Sea Juniors, and Out of Control. Out of Control is a timed obstacle challenge played out on the sports court.
The Harbour
This open-air space is packed with adventure. Kids and teens can tackle the Adventure Trail rope course or take on the longest dry slide at sea. Younger children also have their own dedicated space called The Play Deck.
Teen Programming with a Twist
Teens get a refreshed evening lineup hosted by Yuna, a new AI avatar. Yuna will lead events like the Yuna K-Pop Party and the Yuna Boogie Roller Party. It’s a fun, modern way to keep older kids engaged after dark.
Lego Lovers Will Be in Heaven
Located on Deck 19, Doremiland is getting two brand-new themed Lego rooms. One room takes inspiration from famous Asian landmarks. The other is dedicated entirely to Formula 1.
Young guests can also look forward to a Lego Parade featuring seven mascots based on beloved Lego characters. It sounds like a dream come true for any Lego fan onboard.
The Bottom Line
The MSC World Asia looks like a strong option for families who want variety and fun on their next cruise. With something for every age group — from toddlers to teens — this ship is shaping up to be one of the most family-friendly ships at sea when it launches in late 2026.
