Carnival Miracle Cruises from San Francisco
For the first time ever, Carnival Miracle will cruise from San Francisco. Cruises from San Francisco aboard the 2,124-passenger Carnival Miracle are set to begin on March 19, 2020. The kick-off season includes four-day weekend trips to Ensenada. In addition, Carnival Miracle will also offer longer, five- and six-day cruises to Ensenada, Catalina Island and San Diego.
When summer 2020 arrives, Carnival Miracle heads north to Alaska with 10-day Inside Passage cruises round-trip from San Francisco. If you crave a little more cruise time, on August 9, 2020 the Miracle offers a special, one-time only Inside Passage 11-day Alaska cruise.
In the meantime, Carnival Miracle will continue to offer seasonal cruises from San Diego beginning December 1, 2019. After the inaugural Alaska season from San Francisco, the ship moves back to San Diego for the 2020-21 winter season with three- to 15-day cruises.
Longer cruises, too
To get to the west coast, Carnival Miracle has a 17-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal transit on March 2-19, 2020. Port calls begin with the laid-back beach town of Santa Marta and colorful Cartagena, Colombia. Other ports include Limon, Costa Rica, then the Panama Canal transit and onto Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
A 15-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruise round-trip from San Francisco departs April 16, 2020. The ship will call at Maui (Kahului), Honolulu, Hilo, Kona, and Kauai, plus the mandatory stop in Ensenada.

Four 15-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruises round-trip from San Diego depart on Oct. 16, Nov. 28, 2020. After that, in 2021 Carnival Miracle departs for Hawai’i on Jan. 9 and Feb. 20. Ports include Hilo, Kona, Kauai (Nawiliwili), Maui (Kahului) and Honolulu as well as the required service stop in Ensenada.
