Fincantieri Reports Record Results for First Half of 2026

Fincantieri Posts Big Profits in Early 2026
The Italian shipbuilder reported net income of 102 million euros in the first half of 2026. Total revenues reached 4.6 billion euros during that same period. That’s a major jump compared to the year before.

CEO Pierroberto Folgiero called the results a sign of real progress. “Net profit, nearly tripling compared to the same period of the prior year, underscores the effectiveness of the strategic path undertaken, as well as our ability to translate our order book into concrete and tangible results,” he said.
A Packed Order Book Through 2039
Fincantieri currently has 92 ships on order. That includes 35 cruise ships with delivery dates stretching all the way to 2039. The company’s total backlog sits at an impressive 74 billion euros.
