Coral Princess Kicks Off Epic 115-Night Circle Pacific Voyage

The Coral Princess recently left Los Angeles to start an amazing journey around the Pacific Ocean. Princess Cruises calls this trip the “Circle Pacific” voyage.

The ship sailed from the World Cruise Center in San Pedro in early January. The massive 115-night cruise visits 60 different ports across 19 countries. That’s almost four months at sea exploring the Pacific region.

From Hawaiian Beaches to Japanese Temples

Princess Cruises designed this voyage to showcase the best of the Pacific. Guests will experience everything from relaxing Hawaiian beaches to historic Japanese temples.

The journey starts with stops at four Hawaiian destinations. After leaving Hawaii, the ship heads to the beautiful South Pacific Islands. This includes popular spots like French Polynesia and Fiji.

Exploring Down Under and Beyond

The Coral Princess then makes its way to Australia and New Zealand. The ship visits multiple ports in both countries before heading to Southeast Asia.

From there, the 2002-built vessel turns north toward the Far East. Passengers will explore amazing cities like Hong Kong, along with ports in South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

Nine Stops in Japan

Japan is a major highlight of this cruise. The Coral Princess stops at nine different Japanese ports during the voyage.

These stops include Yatsushiro, Yokohama, Shimizu, and Miyako. Each port offers unique experiences and cultural discoveries.

Alaska’s Natural Wonders

Before returning home, the ship heads to Alaska. This segment includes some of North America’s most stunning scenery.

Guests will enjoy scenic cruising through Glacier Bay and past Hubbard Glacier. The ship also visits popular Alaskan ports like Juneau, Skagway, Whittier, Sitka, and Ketchikan.

The Final Stretch Home

After Alaska, the Coral Princess continues south along the West Coast. The ship stops in Victoria and Vancouver in Canada.

Then it’s on to Seattle and Astoria in the Pacific Northwest. The voyage includes California ports like Santa Barbara and San Diego. The ship also visits Ensenada in Mexico.

The Coral Princess arrives back in Los Angeles on May 16, 2026. That marks the end of this incredible Pacific journey.

Special Overnight Stays

The “Circle Pacific” itinerary includes overnight stays in key destinations. These extended stops give passengers more time to explore.

One overnight happens in Laem Chabang, Thailand. This port serves as the gateway to Bangkok. Another overnight takes place in the stunning Halong Bay in Vietnam.

What’s Next for Coral Princess

After completing the world cruise, the Coral Princess starts a summer season in Alaska. The ship joins Princess Cruises‘ eight-ship Alaska lineup for 2026.

The 1,950-passenger vessel will sail from Whittier and Vancouver. It offers the company’s seven-night “Voyage of the Glaciers” itinerary throughout the summer.

This popular Alaska cruise visits Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway. It also includes scenic cruising in Glacier Bay and past Hubbard Glacier.
