Carnival Cruise Line is bringing twice as many ships to Europe in 2027. The cruise line will send two ships across the Atlantic for summer sailings.

The Carnival Miracle will sail the company’s usual routes to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. The Carnival Sunshine will offer brand-new itineraries to the Mediterranean and Africa.

Carnival Heads to Africa for the First Time

The Carnival Sunshine will make history as the first Carnival ship to visit Africa. The ship will stop at ports in Morocco and Tunisia.

Passengers will get to explore Tangier and Tunis on these groundbreaking sailings. This marks a major expansion for the cruise line’s European offerings.

Carnival Miracle Kicks Off the Season

The Carnival Miracle will leave Galveston and cross the Atlantic first. The ship will arrive in Europe before any other Carnival vessel in 2027.

After a 14-night journey to Lisbon, the Miracle will start sailing around Northern and Western Europe. These cruises will range from nine to 12 nights.

Northern Europe and Baltic Adventures

The ship will depart from both Lisbon and Dover throughout the summer. Ports of call include destinations in Scandinavia and the Baltic region.

Guests can also visit the British Isles, Portugal, Spain, France, and Belgium. The 2,100-passenger ship offers plenty of variety for European travelers.

Mediterranean Sailings Later in Summer

In late September, the Carnival Miracle will head south to the Mediterranean. The ship will sail from Dover to Civitavecchia on a repositioning cruise.

From the Italian port, the Miracle will explore the Greek Islands, Croatia, and Turkey. These eight- to ten-night cruises visit popular spots like Santorini and Mykonos.

Other highlights include Dubrovnik and Kusadasi. The ship will return to North America in early November for the winter season.

Carnival Sunshine’s European Adventure

The Carnival Sunshine will also spend the entire summer in Europe. The ship will leave Norfolk in late May and sail to Dover.

From there, the Sunshine will reposition to Barcelona. The ship will then operate seven- to ten-night cruises around the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.

Wide Range of Mediterranean Ports

Cruises will depart from Barcelona and Civitavecchia throughout the summer. The ship will visit ports in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and Greece.

Malta, Tunisia, and Montenegro are also on the itinerary list. The Carnival Sunshine returns to the United States in November.

The ship will then start its winter season sailing from Galveston. This expanded European deployment gives American cruisers more options to explore Europe with Carnival Cruise Line.
