Great news for cruise lovers who prefer alcohol-free drinks! Carnival Cruise Line will bring back its Cheers! Zero Proof beverage package for 2026 sailings. The cruise line’s Brand Ambassador John Heald shared this exciting update in a recent video.
The new drink package launched earlier this year. It was only available for cruises sailing through December 31, 2025. But guest demand has been so strong that Carnival decided to extend the program.
Guests Love the New Package
Heald explained how popular the alcohol-free option has become with cruisers. “Cheers! Zero Proof is so popular. Every day I’m asked when it is going to be available for 2026,” he said in his video update.
The response from guests convinced Carnival’s leadership to continue the program. “I spoke with the Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations, and he told me that they are meeting about it at the moment and it will be available for 2026,” Heald added.
Sales for 2026 cruises should open very soon. Carnival will notify guests when booking becomes available.
What’s Included in the Package
The Cheers! Zero Proof package offers much more than basic sodas. It includes a wide variety of premium alcohol-free drinks that appeal to different tastes and preferences.
Your package covers Coca-Cola sodas, fresh juices, and bottled water. You’ll also get premium coffee and tea options throughout your cruise. The package includes zero-proof cocktails that taste great without the alcohol.
Other drinks in the package include alcohol-free beers and sparkling wines. You can enjoy frozen zero-proof drinks, smoothies, and bottled protein shakes. Energy drinks are also part of the deal.
Package Rules and Pricing
The drink package works just like Carnival’s regular alcohol packages. It applies to your entire cruise length and is meant for individual use only. You can’t share it with other guests in your cabin.
Unlike Carnival’s Bottomless Bubbles package that only covers sodas, this option gives you comprehensive drink choices. It’s designed to offer convenience and let you customize your drink experience.
Guests of any age can purchase the package. However, some drinks have age restrictions. Alcohol-free beer, wine, and mocktails require guests to be 21 or older.
Cost and Limitations
The Cheers! Zero Proof package currently costs $29.99 per person per day. This price applies to your time on the ship only. The package doesn’t cover drinks when you’re exploring ports and destinations.
This pricing makes it competitive for guests who drink several premium beverages each day. You can easily reach the break-even point with a few specialty coffees and mocktails.
The package represents Carnival’s effort to serve guests who don’t drink alcohol. It shows the cruise line recognizes that many travelers want premium drink options without alcohol content.
