Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady is gearing up for its grand debut in the United Kingdom. Following its stint on the Eastern Mediterranean cruises, the ship is set to dock in Portsmouth on August 23, 2024.
Having departed from Spain earlier this month, the Resilient Lady is now on a repositioning cruise to the UK.
Charted by Atlantis, this ten-night voyage set sail from Barcelona and includes stops in Málaga, Cádiz, La Coruña, and Bilbao.
Before reaching Portsmouth, the one-way journey features an overnight stay in Lisbon, Portugal, and a visit to Bordeaux, France.
According to Atlantis, this sold-out cruise was crafted in collaboration with Virgin Voyages and promises “spectacular entertainment, thrilling parties, and luscious dining.”
Upon arrival in the UK, the Resilient Lady will kick off its homeporting season, offering a total of six itineraries ranging from three to 13 nights.
To commence its cruise program, the Resilient Lady will embark on a four-night trip from Portsmouth to Amsterdam.
This itinerary includes a full day of cruising in the North Sea and an overnight stay in the Dutch capital.
For the rest of the month, the 2,700-guest ship will continue to offer short cruises to the Netherlands and Belgium, before adding six-night trips in September.
These week-long cruises, also departing from Portsmouth, will sail to France and Spain, with stops in Le Verdon, Bilbao, and La Coruña.
After concluding its UK season, the Resilient Lady will set off on a repositioning cruise to Barcelona on September 29, 2024.
This 12-night voyage will visit various destinations in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, including Málaga, Ibiza, Lisbon, and Casablanca.
Built in 2023, the vessel will continue its Mediterranean itineraries before crossing the Atlantic for a winter season in the Caribbean.
Starting in November, the Resilient Lady will offer five- to seven-night cruises to various Caribbean destinations, departing from Miami and Puerto Rico.
