Cruisers can mark their calendars for a new adventure in Europe when Royal Caribbean International debuts a newly amplified Allure of the Seas in April 2025. This gamechanger will feature a more than $100 million upgrade, combining bold experiences and must-see destinations to create Europe’s vacation of the summer. From more than 35 ways to dine and drink to new thrills and places to relax in and by the water, the adventures span top destinations like Provence (Marseille), France; Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), and Rome, Italy; Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and more.

“From the new Icon and Utopia of the Seas to now the more than $100 million transformation of Allure of the Seas, we’ve upped the ante threefold on the different ways vacationers can get away and make memories with Royal Caribbean,” said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer, Royal Caribbean International. “Allure will be reimagined with the best of Royal Caribbean features. From new favorites like the Pesky Parrot tiki bar to a fabulous pool deck and an unmatched combination of thrills and relaxation spots, Allure will have even more of everything that makes it a standout favorite.”

Between The Pesky Parrot tiki bar, resort-style pools, and the 10-story dry slide – the Ultimate Abyss, Royal Caribbean is enhancing European trips for families and all types of vacationers in numerous ways:

All-out Thrill and Chill

  • All-day Pool Days – Resort-style pools are the center of the action on the reimagined Caribbean pool deck. The area includes diverse seating and shade options such as casitas, in-pool loungers, and daybeds. For a relaxed, adults-only escape, the Solarium adds new touches and includes the beloved Samba Grill and dedicated bars.
  • The Perfect Storm – Featuring a multistory trio of waterslides: Cyclone, Typhoon racing waterslides, and the SuperCell champagne bowl, providing thrilling twists and turns for racing friends and family.

  • Splashaway Bay – Designed for tots and tweens, this area includes slides, water cannons, fountains, pools, and whirlpools, plus two drench buckets for extra splashy fun.
  • The Lime & Coconut – This signature poolside bar spans two locations, serving its popular cocktails and featuring live music and great vibes day and night.
  • El Loco Fresh – Enjoy a poolside fiesta with flavors including tacos, burritos, and quesadillas.

Amped-up Flavors and Nights Out

  • Pesky Parrot – Following its standout debut on the new Utopia of the Seas, this Caribbean tiki bar serves fruit-based cocktails made with rum, tequila, and gin, alongside frozen drinks and surprises.
  • Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade – For all ages, offering the chance to watch live games on dozens of TVs, play arcade classics, and enjoy tasty bar food and cold brews.
  • The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar – Currently available only on Wonder and Utopia of the Seas, this hot spot blends Southern comfort food with Royal Caribbean’s hospitality, live country music, and more.

Adventures for Everyone

  • Ultimate Abyss – This adrenaline-pumping attraction offers 10 stories of twists, turns, lights, and sounds. After these exhilarating slides, relax with calming treats like shaved ice from the Wipe Out Bar.

  • Royal Escape Room – Apollo 18: Lunar Landing – As part of the Royal Escape Room lineup, this challenge puts families and friends in the command center in 1973. Together they must solve puzzles to land Apollo 18 on the moon before time runs out.
  • Laser Tag – The Studio B ice rink transforms into a glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena, where guests compete in the Battle for Planet Z.
  • Adventure Ocean – Kids can explore various adventures in a new layout featuring climbable creations at Play Place, the AO Theater, hands-on art, science, and tech at Workshop, interactive games at Arena, the Hangout, plus specialized programs for babies and young kids.
  • Social298 – This revamped teen space offers video games, music, movies, and plenty of chill spots for making new friends.

Additionally, the new Ultimate Panoramic Suites above Allure’s bridge provide 200-degree ocean views. These suites are part of a lineup including popular features such as show-stopping entertainment across air, ice, water, and stage, rock climbing, and the FlowRider surf simulators. Enjoy dining and social spots like Schooner Bar, the Bow & Stern English pub, Giovanni’s Table for Italian classics, and Chops Grille for steaks.

Following the successful amplification of Oasis of the Seas in 2019, Allure is the latest in Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class to undergo a transformation under the Royal Amplified program, introduced in 2018.

Allure will be one of six bold Royal Caribbean vacations sailing from five destinations in Europe for summer 2025 before heading to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2025. Travelers can choose from a range of 6- to 8-night vacations to the eastern Caribbean and The Bahamas, spotlighting award-winning destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay and the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas, opening late 2025.
