Princess Cruises just added another ship to Port Canaveral’s growing cruise lineup. Sky Princess began sailing six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises from Central Florida on Sunday.
This marks Princess Cruises’ expansion at the popular Florida port. The move gives more people easy access to Princess’s signature vacation experience.
Sky Princess Follows Caribbean Princess to Port Canaveral
Caribbean Princess homeported at Port Canaveral last year as Princess’s first ship at the port. That inaugural season went so well that Princess decided to upsize its offerings.
Sky Princess is larger than Caribbean Princess. The addition means Princess can carry more passengers from the Space Coast to Caribbean destinations.
Both ships will sail from Port Canaveral in 2026. Caribbean Princess returns to join Sky Princess for Caribbean and Bahamas cruises next year. This two-ship program shows Princess’s commitment to the Central Florida market.
Port Canaveral Welcomes the Partnership
Captain John Murray leads Port Canaveral as CEO. He praised Princess Cruises as a valued partner with proven success sailing from the port.
