Two ships will sail Australian waters during this season. The Anthem of the Seas and the Voyager of the Seas will operate cruises between October 2027 and April 2028.

What Is Royal Beach Club Lelepa?

Royal Beach Club Lelepa is a first-of-its-kind beach destination. It sits on the island nation of Vanuatu in the South Pacific. Royal Caribbean says it will offer guests “an ultimate beach day like no other.”

The destination will feature two distinct beaches. One is a relaxed adults-only retreat. The other is a family beach packed with activities.

What’s Included at Lelepa?

The beach club is all-inclusive, which is great news for budget-conscious travelers. Guests will enjoy ten bars, unlimited food, umbrellas, loungers, and towels — all included in the price.

“Royal Caribbean continues to raise the bar on the ultimate family holiday with Royal Beach Club Lelepa — a first-of-its-kind destination in the Southern Hemisphere inspired by the natural beauty and spirit of the South Pacific region,” said Gavin Smith, Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Royal Caribbean.

He added, “We know Australian families love holidaying in the South Pacific, and Lelepa takes that to an entirely new level with an experience they won’t find anywhere else in the world.”

Every South Pacific itinerary departing from Sydney and Brisbane will include a stop at Lelepa starting in October 2027.

Anthem of the Seas: Sailing From Sydney

The Anthem of the Seas will offer 24 sailings from Sydney. Trips range from three to 17 nights in length.

Shorter cruises visit Lelepa and nearby Australian destinations. Longer sailings of nine to 12 nights head to New Zealand. Stops include Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Milford Sound.

Special Voyages on Anthem of the Seas

A few sailings stand out this season. A nine-night South Pacific Christmas cruise will feature a stop at Lelepa. There’s also a New Year’s voyage to New Zealand and a 17-night repositioning cruise sailing from Hawaii to Sydney.

Voyager of the Seas: Sailing From Brisbane

The Voyager of the Seas will offer 29 departures from Brisbane. Itineraries range from two to 25 nights long.

Highlights include stops at Royal Beach Club Lelepa and popular South Pacific ports. These include Noumea, Lifou, Mystery Island, Port Vila, and Luganville.

Can’t-Miss Sailings From Brisbane

Four-night getaways to Airlie Beach are a fun short-trip option. For the adventurous traveler, a 25-night repositioning voyage departs from Seattle. It stops in French Polynesia and Hawaii before arriving in Brisbane.

The Bottom Line

This Australia season looks like a strong lineup for South Pacific cruising. The addition of Royal Beach Club Lelepa gives cruisers a brand-new beach experience. Whether you want a quick weekend getaway or a longer adventure, there’s something here for almost every type of traveler.
