Royal Caribbean just dropped some exciting news for cruise lovers. The cruise line revealed plans for year-round Caribbean and Bahamas cruises starting in 2027-28. These new sailings will depart from three popular Florida ports.
Passengers can pick from cruise lengths ranging from two to eight nights. Five different ships will offer these itineraries. The lineup includes the impressive Star of the Seas.
Star of the Seas Continues Caribbean Service
The Star of the Seas entered service earlier this year as Royal Caribbean’s second Icon-class ship. This massive vessel will keep offering seven-night cruises to the Caribbean and Bahamas from Port Canaveral.
The 250,800-ton ship brings good news for Dominican Republic fans. Royal Caribbean will return to the port of Samaná as part of these weeklong cruises. The itineraries will cover both Western and Eastern Caribbean destinations.
More Ships Join the Florida Fleet
The Harmony of the Seas will also sail weeklong cruises from Central Florida. This Oasis-class ship recently completed its Royal Amplified upgrade. The renovated vessel will visit popular spots like Jamaica, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.
Two other Oasis-class ships will focus on shorter getaways to the Bahamas. The Utopia of the Seas will sail from Port Canaveral. The Wonder of the Seas will operate from Miami.
These three- and four-night cruises will highlight visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay. This private island destination remains a guest favorite.
Tampa Gets Western Caribbean Focus
The Radiance of the Seas will call Tampa home for its year-round schedule. This ship offers flexible cruise lengths from four to eight nights. All itineraries focus on Western Caribbean destinations.
Royal Caribbean plans to enhance these cruises with new beach clubs. The additions will appear in both Cozumel and Nassau. This strategy gives guests more exclusive destination options.
New Private Destination Coming Soon
The itineraries will also feature Perfect Day Mexico. This new private location sits in Costa Maya and should debut in late 2027. Royal Caribbean will announce the exact opening date sometime in 2026.
This addition gives cruise passengers another exclusive beach destination. It follows the success of Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
Early Booking Opportunity
Crown & Anchor Society members get first dibs on these new cruises. The loyalty program members can book before the official opening. General booking starts on Wednesday, November 5th.
