Norwegian Cruise Line Enhances Military Appreciation Program

Norwegian Cruise Line has broadened its Military Appreciation Program to now include active Canadian service members, veterans, and their families from the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force, and Canadian Coast Guard, as announced in a press release.
Starting immediately, eligible members of the Canadian armed forces will be able to enjoy unique onboard experiences, special amenities, and a 10 percent discount on cruise fares for all voyages across the NCL fleet.
“The NCL family is committed to supporting the military community, and it is an honor to expand the benefits of our Military Appreciation Program to our allies in Canada,” said David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line. “It is a privilege to welcome men and women who have bravely served their countries, along with their families, onboard our ships.”

Originally launched in November 2022, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Military Appreciation Program provides a 10 percent discount on cruise fares for active U.S. service members, veterans, retired military personnel, and their spouses. Additionally, military guests receive exclusive onboard amenities and experiences, including a welcome reception and packet.
To simplify the booking process, service members can verify their eligibility through ID.me, a secure network that offers one-time verification, ensuring a smooth experience for eligible U.S. and Canadian armed forces members.
