Norwegian Brings Back the Popular Free at Sea Plus Package

Norwegian Cruise Line is bringing back its enhanced Free at Sea Plus package. The cruise line announced this news in a recent update to travelers.

The company said the return takes its Free at Sea program “to the next level, giving travelers even more ways to enjoy a seamless, stress-free cruise.”

What’s Included in the Free at Sea Plus Package

The upgraded package starts at $49.99 per person per day. It includes several premium amenities that regular cruise packages don’t offer.

You’ll get unlimited Starbucks beverages throughout your cruise. The package also includes unlimited streaming Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected without worrying about data limits.

The drink options go beyond the standard selections. You can enjoy top-shelf spirits like Patrón Añejo and Macallan 12 Year Old whiskey. Premium wines and champagne from Norwegian’s signature collection are also included.

Other beverage perks include bottled water, energy drinks, and fresh juices. Plus, you’ll get 50% off any additional specialty dining cover charges during your cruise.

Great Stirrup Cay Benefits

One major benefit is unlimited beverages at Great Stirrup Cay. This is Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas.

This perk becomes more valuable starting in March 2026. Norwegian will stop honoring regular beverage packages at Great Stirrup Cay after that date.

Complete Package Value

The Free at Sea Plus builds on the original Free at Sea benefits. Those include specialty dining, unlimited bar service on the ship, and high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink.

You also get shore excursion credits with the base package. Norwegian said the enhanced version means “even fewer logistics to manage, total budget control and more time to relax.”

When You Can Book

The Free at Sea Plus package becomes available on December 18, 2025. It covers cruises that depart starting February 1, 2026.

Norwegian’s 2027-28 Winter Season

Norwegian announced this package alongside its winter 2027-28 cruise schedule. The company will offer over 370 cruises across multiple regions.

The schedule covers the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexican Riviera, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Seven ships will sail from Florida ports during this season.

Two of Norwegian’s newest ships will operate from Puerto Rico. The Norwegian Viva and Norwegian Prima will both sail from this home port.

Other departure cities include Los Angeles, New Orleans, Galveston, Jacksonville, and Philadelphia. This gives travelers from different regions easy access to Norwegian cruises.
