Disney Adventure Arrives in Florida After Crossing the Atlantic Ocean

Disney’s newest cruise ship just completed a major milestone on its journey to Asia. Disney Adventure reached Florida on January 15, 2026 after a nearly two-week transatlantic crossing from Europe.

More than 250 cast members welcomed the ship to Florida. Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse joined the celebration marking the end of the first leg of the ship’s journey to Singapore.

Where Disney Adventure Goes Next

The ship’s adventure is far from over. Disney Adventure will sail through the Panama Canal as the next step of its delivery voyage.

After passing through the canal, the ship stops in Los Angeles. From there, it voyages across the Pacific Ocean to Tokyo.

The nearly two-month journey will conclude in early March when the ship reaches Singapore. Disney Adventure arrives at its permanent homeport ahead of its maiden voyage on March 10.

What This Journey Means for Disney Cruise Line

Disney Adventure represents Disney’s expansion into the Asian cruise market. The ship will sail from Singapore offering cruises throughout Southeast Asia.

This marks Disney’s first permanent presence in Asia with a dedicated homeport. The move shows Disney’s confidence in growing demand for cruise vacations in the region.

The lengthy delivery voyage allows crew members to prepare the ship for guest operations. They’ll finalize training, test all systems, and ensure everything runs perfectly before passengers board.

Disney Adventure’s Maiden Voyage

The ship’s first official cruise with paying passengers departs Singapore on March 10. This inaugural sailing will launch Disney Adventure’s regular operation in Asia.
