MSC Cruises is bringing something special to the 2026 Miami Grand Prix. The cruise line will debut a massive, yacht-inspired hospitality venue at the race from May 1-3.
This isn’t your typical trackside viewing area. The new MSC Yacht Club will span five decks and look like a real luxury yacht. It will sit inside the Marina area between Turns 5 and 9, giving race fans amazing views of the action.
A Floating Palace on Dry Land
The structure will be huge. It measures 264 feet long and 96 feet wide. At its tallest point, it reaches 50 feet high.
The MSC Yacht Club offers 32,000 square feet of space across five levels. Each deck will provide different experiences for guests. Race fans will get dramatic views of up to five turns on the track from this prime location.
Bringing the Ship to Shore
The venue takes its name and inspiration from MSC Cruises’ onboard Yacht Club. This ship-within-a-ship concept offers luxury experiences on MSC vessels.
“MSC Cruises’ partnership with Formula 1 continues to grow and evolve, and the MSC Yacht Club at the Miami Grand Prix is a perfect expression of who we are as a brand—combining innovation, luxury hospitality and world-class experiences in one extraordinary setting,” said Suzanne Salas. She serves as executive vice president of marketing, e-commerce and sales for MSC Cruises.
European Style Meets American Racing
Salas explained the connection between racing and cruising perfectly. “Formula 1 represents the very best in performance, spectacle and international appeal, which makes this the perfect venue for MSC Cruises to offer fans the seamless blend of European style and American comfort guests enjoy onboard our ships.”
The food program will be run by Bagatelle, a well-known hospitality brand. They will handle dining throughout the weekend at the venue.
Raising the Bar at Miami
The Miami Grand Prix keeps getting better each year. Katharina Nowak is president of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. She shared her excitement about the new addition.
“From the very beginning, the Marina presented by MSC Cruises has been one of the defining features of our race,” Nowak said. “In creating the MSC Yacht Club, we wanted to elevate that iconic space by providing something even more immersive, refined and connected to racing.”
This is the biggest new feature at the event since 2023. That year, organizers built a new Paddock Club building.
More Changes Coming
The Marina area presented by MSC Cruises will also get other upgrades. A new general admission section will open with a raised viewing platform inside Turn 7.
These changes show how the Miami Grand Prix continues to grow. The race brings together luxury hospitality and high-speed racing action. For MSC Cruises, it’s a chance to show race fans what they offer at sea.
