More Carnival Vista Family Friendly Reveals and a Ship Tour

Carnival Vista
Still under construction, here’s what the Carnival Vista will look like on May 1, 2016.

Carnival Vista will offer family activities that get the adrenaline pumping.

If the family that plays together, stays together, then it’s beginning to look like there’ll soon be a drop in the divorce rate for families that cruise. Family-friendly onboard activities dominate the future for the three mass market cruise lines that includes Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. Each of those cruise lines’ newest ships are targeted for families to cruise together. And Carnival’s new Carnival Vista is on the cutting edge of family fun activities that just about everyone can enjoy.

Making its debut is the thrilling SkyRide, a first-of-its-kind aerial attraction. Imagine pedaling a recumbent-style bicycle suspended on cables at speeds of up to 18 miles an hour across an elevated 800-foot-long track. And there’s no fee for this adrenaline-rush experience.

Below the SkyRide is the outdoor SportsSquare recreation area, home to the two-level miniature golf course, a challenging ropes course and outdoor fitness equipment.

WaterWorks Aqua Park

Of course the Carnival Vista will include their trademark WaterWorks aqua park. The kiddie area is filled with water toys and sprayers and mini water slides for older tots. Everyone else can ride an inner tube to zoom down the new 455-foot long Kaleid-o-Slide. Carnival’s signature 300-foot Twister water slide and the PowerDrencher’s 300-gallon tipping bucket add even more ways to get soaked.
