Celebrity Solstice Relaunches with Major Makeover
The Celebrity Solstice has returned to the seas after a significant refit. The ship spent several weeks in Singapore getting a head-to-toe upgrade. It left Singapore on March 2, ready to wow passengers with a fresh new look and feel.
Eight New Experiences Await You Onboard
Celebrity Cruises added eight new experiences to the Solstice. Four of those are completely brand-new spaces. The changes cover everything from dining and entertainment to staterooms and outdoor areas.

Celebrity President Laura Hodges Bethge summed it up well:
“Celebrity Solstice launched our Solstice Series ships and defined a generation of Celebrity Cruises travel. This reimagination honors that heritage while setting a new standard for what an elevated vacation can be.”
She added: “Every new experience was designed around how our guests want to spend their time, backed by the unmatched hospitality that defines every Celebrity Cruises sailing.”
More Staterooms and Brand-New Categories
Every existing cabin on the ship has been refreshed. The refit also added 54 new staterooms. The ship now holds a total of 1,479 cabins.
Four new stateroom categories were also introduced:
- Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite
- Two new Panoramic Ocean View Suite categories
- Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View
These new categories focus on giving guests stunning views from their rooms.
Suite Guests Get Extra Perks
Guests staying in The Retreat — the ship’s exclusive suite class — have some exciting new additions. A brand-new sundeck features an oversized hot tub and dedicated outdoor seating. The private lounge has also been fully redesigned.
AquaClass Gets a Wellness Boost
The ship’s wellness-focused AquaClass staterooms have been upgraded with spa-inspired touches. Think massaging showerheads, aromatherapy diffusers, and in-room yoga mats. Guests also get premium robes, slippers, and a pillow menu to customize their sleep experience.
Two Brand-New Restaurants to Try
Foodies have two new dining spots to explore on the refreshed Solstice.
Trattoria Rossa brings the flavors of Rome and Southern Italy to sea. It’s a new Italian restaurant with a focus on regional cuisine. If you’re a pasta lover, this one’s for you.
Fine Cut Steakhouse is the other new addition. It serves 30-day dry-aged steaks alongside fresh seafood. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to make a reservation for early.
Sunset Park: The New Top-Deck Hangout
The ship’s new Sunset Park sits at the top deck and is perfect for soaking up the sun. You can join a yoga class, play lawn games, or catch some live music up there. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the open water.
Right next to it, the Sunset Park Café offers casual breakfast and lunch options. The Sunset Bar has also been expanded and now serves handcrafted cocktails.
Two New Entertainment Venues
The Solstice now has two fresh spots for evening fun.
The Boulevard Lounge is a cozy 125-seat venue. It runs entertainment all day long, from piano bar shows and karaoke to fun new game shows.
The Parlor is the ship’s new sports and gaming lounge. You can shoot some billiards, throw darts, or pull out a classic board game. Sports fans can also catch their favorite games on a big screen.
Where Is the Solstice Headed?
The Celebrity Solstice has a packed travel schedule for 2026. The ship will visit Asia and Australia before heading to Alaska in the summer.
Then comes the highlight — a 110-night Grand Voyage starting September 13, 2026. This epic sailing visits over 55 different ports. It covers Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. The voyage wraps up with a New Year’s Eve arrival in Hong Kong. Now that’s a way to ring in the New Year!
