Carnival Unveils Exciting New Dining Options Coming to Its Fleet and New Ships

Carnival Reveals “The Next Course” Culinary Program

Carnival Cruise Line has launched a major new dining initiative called “The Next Course.” The program brings fresh food experiences to ships across the entire fleet. It also introduces brand-new restaurants and bars on two upcoming ships.

The announcement was made at a special event in New Orleans. Carnival’s Chief Culinary Officer, Emeril Lagasse, was there to help unveil the news.

What Is “The Next Course”?

New Ships, New Restaurants

Two new Excel-class ships are coming soon. The Carnival Festivale debuts in 2027, and the Carnival Tropicale follows in 2028. Both ships will feature exclusive dining venues you won’t find anywhere else in the fleet.

Emeril’s Coastal Seafood

This specialty restaurant brings coastal-inspired dishes crafted by Emeril Lagasse himself. Expect fresh, flavorful seafood with a chef-driven touch.

Fetaccine

Love both Italian and Greek food? Fetaccine blends the best of both into one Mediterranean-inspired venue. It sounds like the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner at sea.

Le Bistro Musicale (Carnival Festivale Exclusive)

This one is exclusive to the Carnival Festivale. Le Bistro Musicale serves classic French cuisine in what Carnival describes as a relaxed, music-filled Parisian setting. Think of it as Paris meets the Caribbean.

Uku Lei Lei

This Hawaiian-themed venue adds some island flavor to the mix. It will also serve Asian classics, making it a great option for guests who want something different.

New Bars on the Carnival Festivale

The new dining experiences don’t stop at food. The Carnival Festivale will also debut several brand-new bar concepts.

Main Dining Room Gets a Refresh

Carnival is rolling out updated menus for its Main Dining Rooms. New dishes will be available for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. The Chef’s Table experience is also getting a revamped menu. It will feature multi-course meals with regionally inspired flavors.

New Fast-Casual Options

Hungry between meals? Carnival has you covered with several new quick-bite options.
