Carnival Cruise Line has made some schedule tweaks to upcoming Carnival Panorama sailings. Here’s what you need to know if you’re booked on one of these Mexican Riviera cruises.
Carnival Panorama Schedule Changes: What’s Happening
Carnival has adjusted the itineraries for 14 Mexican Riviera cruises on the Carnival Panorama. The changes affect sailings in 2026 and 2027. Most of the updates involve departure times from Long Beach and port times in Cabo San Lucas.

Which Sailings Are Affected
August and September 2026 Departures
Seven sailings this summer and fall have updated schedules. The September 6, 2026 departure will now leave Long Beach at 3:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM.
Six more sailings share similar changes. These are the August 9, August 15, August 23, September 13, and September 20, 2026 departures, plus January 24, 2027. These cruises originally sailed at 4:00 PM but will now depart at 3:30 PM. Port times in Cabo San Lucas have also been adjusted.
November 2026
The November 15, 2026 sailing will see adjusted port times in Cabo San Lucas only. The departure time from Long Beach stays the same.
January and February 2027 Departures
Guests on the January 30, February 13, and February 27, 2027 cruises will also leave Long Beach earlier at 3:30 PM instead of 4:00 PM. These sailings also return to Long Beach later than originally planned. The new arrival time is 10:00 AM instead of 9:00 AM.
February and March 2027 Departures
The February 7, February 21, and March 7, 2027 sailings are moving in the opposite direction. The Carnival Panorama will now depart Long Beach at 5:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM. Cabo San Lucas port times have been adjusted for these sailings too.
What You Need to Do
If you have pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions for Cabo San Lucas, don’t panic. Carnival says those will be automatically updated to match the new port times where applicable.
Here are a few important reminders:
- Check your boarding pass for the final boarding time and make sure you’re on the ship before then.
- Update your travel plans if your return time to Long Beach has changed. The later 10:00 AM arrival affects select January and February 2027 sailings.
- Review your flights or ground transportation to make sure everything still lines up with the new schedule.
It’s always a good idea to double-check your booking details directly with Carnival if you have any questions about how these changes affect your specific cruise.
