Carnival Cruise Line Provides Latest Update on Cozumel Visits Amid Hurricane Beryl

The captain of a Carnival cruise ship has sent a message to guests on board about their planned visit to Cozumel on Saturday. Hurricane Beryl has made landfall on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, causing all cruise ports in the region to be closed today. Carnival Cruise Line is monitoring the storm and making itinerary changes to ensure the safety of guests and crew.
The captain of Carnival Valor, Captain Mazzi, informed guests that they are heading to Cozumel as planned, but will stay a safe distance from the storm. The cruise line has made adjustments to other itineraries as well due to Hurricane Beryl.
Carnival Cruise Line’s Brand Ambassador, John Heald, is providing updates on Facebook. Stay informed by visiting the National Hurricane Center’s website for the latest information on Hurricane Beryl. Remember, hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30, so it’s important to be prepared if there is a storm during your cruise dates. As of now, no cruises have been canceled due to Hurricane Beryl.
