Royal Caribbean to Deploy Four Ships to Alaska in Summer 2028
Royal Caribbean has unveiled its 2028 summer lineup for Alaska, with four ships sailing to the region beginning in April 2028.
Guests will be able to explore the region on seven-night cruises departing from Seattle, Seward and Vancouver aboard the Anthem, Ovation, Serenade and Voyager of the Seas.

The itineraries are now open to book on Royal Caribbean's website for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members, ahead of the official opening on Oct. 1.
Alaska Summer 2028 Highlights:
Anthem of the Seas (from Seward and Vancouver)
From May to September, the Anthem will combine Alaska's coastlines with inland experiences on seven-night vacations and two- to six-night Cruisetours that extend the journey before or after the vacation, including visits to Denali National Park.
Highlights include visits to Hubbard Glacier, Ketchikan, Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and exploring Skagway, as well as Icy Strait Point.
Ovation of the Seas (from Seattle)
The upgraded Ovation will bring guests to Alaska on seven-night cruises from Seattle between May and September.
Guests will be able to discover Sitka, Skagway and Juneau, along with the waterfalls, valleys and mountain views at Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
Serenade of the Seas (from Vancouver)
On the Serenade, guests can explore Alaska's mountains, rainforests and wildlife-rich coastline on seven-night cruises from Vancouver from May to September.
Experiences include the longest and highest zipline at Icy Strait Point, hiking in Prince Rupert, British Columbia and browsing Juneau.
Voyager of the Seas (from Seattle)
From April to September, the Voyager will offer seven-night cruises from Seattle to Alaskan towns of Sitka, Juneau and Skagway and Canada's Victoria, British Columbia.
Guests can visit national historic sites and take in views of the surrounding mountains and coastal landscapes, while keeping an eye out for wildlife like grizzly bears, harbor seals and bald eagles.
The Voyager sailed its first season in Alaska this summer, offering seven-night cruises from Seattle.
The cruise line's 2027 Alaska season will also be operated by four ships: the Anthem, Quantum, Voyager and the Serenade of the Seas.
