Royal Caribbean Adds America’s Got Talent Shows to Legend of the Seas
Royal Caribbean is taking onboard entertainment to a whole new level. Starting in August 2026, the Legend of the Seas will feature a brand-new America’s Got Talent stage show at sea.
America’s Got Talent Is Heading to Sea
The show is called America’s Got Talent LIVE. It’s a fresh take on the popular TV variety show — and it’s the first time the franchise will ever headline on a cruise ship.

Christine Coachman, Royal Caribbean’s vice president of entertainment, shared her excitement about the partnership. “At Royal Caribbean, we are constantly redefining live entertainment at every turn — bringing jaw-dropping performances to life across stage, air, water, and ice — and America’s Got Talent LIVE on Legend of the Seas is the perfect expression of that vision.”
She added, “As one of the most acclaimed entertainment franchises on television, America’s Got Talent perfectly reflects our commitment to bold, world-class experiences that will truly wow our audiences on Legend.”
What Kind of Performances Can You Expect?
The Royal Theater
The ship’s main theater will host talent from across the Got Talent universe. Think magicians, musicians, acrobats, and aerialists. It’s basically a live version of your favorite TV moments — just with the ocean as your backdrop.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
In addition to the AGT show, the Legend of the Seas will also debut a production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This is another brand-new show making its onboard premiere.
AquaTheater and Ice Arena
Outside the main theater, the entertainment keeps going. The AquaTheater will feature high divers, aerialists, robots, and dancers. There’s also Absolute Zero, which Royal Caribbean calls the largest ice arena at sea.
Where Will the Legend of the Seas Sail?
Mediterranean Sailings
The Legend of the Seas kicks off its maiden season with seven-night Western Mediterranean itineraries. The ship sails from Barcelona, Spain, and Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. Ports of call include Provence (Marseille) in France, Naples in Italy, and Palma de Mallorca in Spain.
Caribbean Sailings
After its Mediterranean run, the ship crosses the Atlantic. Starting in November 2026, it will homeport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Guests can choose from six-night Western Caribbean or eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries.
This Icon-class ship is shaping up to be one of the most entertainment-packed ships on the water. If live shows are your thing, the Legend of the Seas is worth keeping an eye on.
