Holland America Unveils New Beach Club at Half Moon Cay

Holland America Line has completed a series of enhancements to RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, its private island in the Bahamas, ahead of the destination's 30th anniversary in 2027.

Guests can experience the newly refreshed island on more than two dozen Caribbean itineraries sailing from October 2026 through April 2027, according to the cruise line.

"Every enhancement at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is centered on creating an even more exceptional experience while building on everything guests already love about the island," said Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line.

"It's exciting to unveil the Beach Club as we prepare to welcome our first visitors in October."

The updates include a new exclusive Beach Club opening for bookings in early October, a new food pavilion, upgraded cabanas and refreshed bars.

Guests who purchase a day pass will receive priority tendering from the ship to the island, along with dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, included beach accessories and specialty food and beverage offerings.

Outside the Beach Club, a new food pavilion will offer a complimentary island-only barbecue menu, and existing bars and eateries are being renovated.

Cabanas are being upgraded and the beach area will add more daybeds, upgraded canopy loungers for two and additional beach chairs. Four pickleball courts, introduced last season, remain part of the island's offerings.
