Bookings for the Disney Destiny will open on September 12, and today we’re excited to share key dates and details about the ship’s maiden voyage and inaugural itineraries. Get ready to plan your client’s ultimate vacation!
The Disney Destiny will begin its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 20, 2025. This special four-night cruise will be a unique opportunity for guests to experience all the ship has to offer, with stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!
Following the maiden voyage, the ship will have an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Each sailing will feature a fun-filled day at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay, and some itineraries will visit both! Select cruises will also include relaxing stops in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico. Onboard the Disney Destiny, guests can visit the “Pirates of the Caribbean” inspired pub, Cask and Cannon. This cozy, treasure-filled lounge invites you to share seafaring tales with fellow buccaneers, featuring treasures “acquired” during their many voyages.
An evening at Cask and Cannon wouldn’t be complete without a selection of rare, specialty, and vintage rums to impress even the most seasoned swashbucklers. There will also be exclusive “bootlegged” brews served straight from the barrel in true pirate fashion.
And savvy treasure-hunters might even uncover a mysterious trove of looted libations served in an actual treasure chest! Now that’s better than a bounty of golden doubloons, isn’t it?
Cask and Cannon is just one of many brand-new experiences awaiting you aboard our heroes and villains-inspired ship! The Disney Destiny will also showcase:
- Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King – a unique dining experience celebrating the music of Disney’s “The Lion King”

- Edna Á La Mode Sweets – a one-of-a-kind confectionary inspired by Pixar’s “The Incredibles”
- The Sanctum – Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by Doctor Strange’s mystical arts and artifacts
- Plus, hero-themed staterooms and suites featuring custom artwork, a villain-packed storyline on the AquaMouse water attraction, and iconic tributes to Marvel superheroes like Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Iron Man!
