The Celebrity Infinity just launched its 2026 Eastern Mediterranean season. The ship started a repositioning cruise to Greece and the Greek Isles on February 3, 2026.

The Celebrity Cruises ship departed from Barcelona, Spain. It finished a drydock in France just before starting this journey.

First Cruise Visits Seven Mediterranean Ports

The Celebrity Infinity is now sailing a 13-night cruise to Greece. Passengers will visit ports in Italy, Malta, Greece, and Turkey along the way.

The ship’s route includes stops in Messina, Valletta, Nafplion, Heraklion, and Rhodes. It also visits Kusadasi and Thessaloniki before reaching its final destination. The cruise ends in Piraeus, Greece’s main cruise port near Athens.

Best of Greece Itinerary Launches February 16

The ship starts its regular Greek season on February 16, 2026. This 11-night cruise follows Celebrity’s “Best of Greece” itinerary.

The sailing visits seven ports across Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus. After leaving Piraeus, the ship calls at Nafplion, Katakolon, and Heraklion. It then continues to Rhodes, Limassol, Antalya, and Kusadasi.

Summer and Fall Schedule in the Greek Isles

The Celebrity Infinity will sail in the Eastern Mediterranean through early November. The ship offers cruises ranging from seven to 11 nights. All sailings depart from Piraeus.

This schedule gives cruise travelers plenty of options for Greek island vacations. The varied itineraries let guests explore different parts of the region.

Year-Round European Operations

The Celebrity Infinity has operated in Europe year-round since early 2023. Before this repositioning cruise, the ship sailed the Western Mediterranean and Canary Islands.

The 2001-built vessel will return to Western Mediterranean waters for winter 2026-27. It will offer itineraries departing from Barcelona during the colder months.

Recent Drydock Refresh

The 2,170-passenger ship completed maintenance work in France in January 2026. The drydock included regular maintenance, required inspections, and general upkeep.

The Celebrity Infinity was the first Celebrity ship to enter drydock in 2026. The Celebrity Solstice followed soon after with a major refurbishment in Singapore.

The Solstice’s project includes updated public areas and new dining venues. That ship will return to service with fresh features for guests.
