Carnival Cruise Line just announced their new cruise schedules for 2027 and 2028. The lineup includes Caribbean trips from three U.S. ports and expanded European voyages. There’s even a special cruise to see the solar eclipse on July 29, 2027.
Three ships will offer these exciting itineraries. Carnival Miracle will start in Galveston, Texas, then head to Europe for summer. Carnival Elation and Carnival Paradise will keep sailing from Florida ports to popular Caribbean spots.
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Eclipse Experience
Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, shared her excitement about the eclipse cruise. “While there will be many ways to view the Aug. 2 solar eclipse, seeing it from Carnival Miracle will definitely be the most fun way to do so,” she said. “Along with the great summer 2027 season in Europe, the combination of our large and diverse fleet and roster of U.S. homeports allows us to bring more variety and adventure to the 2027/28 season.”
The eclipse cruise will be an 11-day journey starting July 29 from Dover, England. Guests will enjoy a special day at sea on August 2 to watch the solar eclipse. The ship will also visit ports in Portugal, Spain, France, and Belgium.
Carnival Miracle’s Texas to Europe Adventure
Carnival Miracle kicks off her season from Galveston on March 29, 2027. She’ll join three other Carnival ships sailing from Texas ports. The 2,100-passenger ship will offer several Caribbean cruises before heading to Europe.
Her Caribbean trips include two 4-day cruises to Cozumel, Mexico. She’ll also sail a 10-day Eastern Caribbean voyage visiting Celebration Key, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove. A 10-day Western Caribbean trip will stop in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Belize, Cozumel, and Roatan.
The ship will also offer a special 10-day Panama Canal cruise. This voyage will visit Costa Rica, Panama, Roatan, and Cozumel. It’s a great way to see one of the world’s engineering marvels.
European Summer Season
On May 6, Carnival Miracle starts her European adventure with a 14-day transatlantic cruise. The ship will sail from Galveston to Lisbon, Portugal. Stops include Bermuda and two Portuguese ports.
From May through September, the ship will be based in Dover, England. She’ll offer 8- to 12-day cruises around the British Isles, Northern Europe, Scandinavia, and the Baltic. These itineraries let guests explore historic cities and stunning landscapes.
In late September, Carnival Miracle moves to Rome, Italy. From there, she’ll sail 8- and 10-day trips to the Greek Isles, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro. These Mediterranean cruises offer a taste of ancient history and beautiful coastlines.
