Carnival Adventure to Make U.S. Debut in 2028
The Carnival Adventure will debut in the U.S. market in 2028, offering itineraries on the West Coast and to Alaska.
Originally built for Princess Cruises, the 2,600-passenger ship was transferred to the Carnival Cruise Line fleet in early 2025 after spending four years sailing for P&O Australia.

With the Australian brand combining its operations with Carnival, the vessel continued to sail from its homeport in Sydney since the transfer.
Starting in 2027, however, it will add more varied itineraries to its schedule before repositioning to North America for a summer season in 2028.
According to Carnival's recently published deployment, the Adventure will sail from Seattle between May and September 2028.
For its first season sailing from a U.S. homeport, the 2001-built vessel will offer seven- to nine-night cruises to Alaska, in addition to a special cruise to Hawaii.
Sailing roundtrip from the Washington homeport, the ship's seven-night itineraries to Alaska will feature visits to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria, in addition to scenic cruising in Endicott Arm Fjord and the Inside Passage.
The Carnival Adventure is also scheduled to sail to Sitka during a nine-night Carnival Journeys cruise scheduled for September 2028.
The longer sailing will be followed by a 16-night voyage to Hawaii and Canada, which will sail roundtrip from Seattle and conclude the ship's summer season in the region.
Also included in the Carnival Journeys program, the itinerary will feature visits to Nawiliwili, Honolulu, Kahului and Hilo.
While repositioning voyages for the season were not revealed, the 109,000-ton vessel is expected to return to Australia for the 2028-29 winter.
In addition to the Carnival Adventure, the company's 2028 deployment on the West Coast will also include the Carnival Spirit and the Carnival Legend.
The ships will offer itineraries to Alaska, Mexico and Hawaii from Seattle, Long Beach and San Francisco between April and September 2028.
