From Dover, the ship is running a series of 9- to 12-night cruises. These itineraries cover Northern Europe, including Scandinavia, the British Isles, and the Baltic region.
Special Iceland Cruise Is on the Schedule
Later in June, the Carnival Legend will offer a unique cruise to Iceland. Stops include Grundarfjordur, Reykjavik, Akureyri, and Djupivogur, plus ports in Great Britain and Ireland.
Iceland is a bucket-list destination for many travelers. This cruise gives guests a rare chance to explore it from a familiar Carnival ship.
Don’t Miss the Solar Eclipse Cruise
One of the most exciting sailings this season is an 11-night Western Europe cruise. It’s timed so guests can watch a total solar eclipse from the best possible vantage point.
The itinerary visits Portugal, Spain, Belgium, and France. Ports of call include Lisbon, Porto, Vigo, Le Havre, Zeebrugge, Le Verdon, and Guernsey.
A Fall Mediterranean Season Awaits
In mid-September, the Carnival Legend heads to the Mediterranean. It will homeport in Civitavecchia, Italy, and sail through November.
The fall deployment features 9- and 12-night itineraries. Guests can visit ports in Italy, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, and Turkey.
Heading Back to the U.S.
The European season wraps up with a trans-Atlantic crossing back to Tampa. After that, the ship will shift to Western Caribbean itineraries.
The Ship Got a Fresh New Look
Before heading to Europe, the Carnival Legend went into drydock at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. It came out with a brand-new feature that no other Carnival ship has had before.
The Legend became the first ship to display Carnival’s new “From Sea to Shining Sea” bow crest. The design was inspired by “America the Beautiful” and honors the country’s 250th anniversary.
Carnival plans to roll out this new bow crest to all its ships sailing from U.S. ports. It’s a small but meaningful touch that reflects a big national milestone.
