After a two-week multi-million dollar renovations, Charleston, S.C.-based Carnival Ecstasy can now boast of having many of Carnival’s most popular food and beverage venues.
Carnival Ecstasy returned to Charleston this week to continue its year-round schedule of cruises.
Carnival Ecstasy newest food and beverage venues added:
Guy’s Burger Joint: complimentary poolside burger stand serving some of the juiciest hand-crafted burgers and fresh-cut fries at sea.
BlueIguana Cantina: complimentary poolside Mexican food buffet with freshly made burritos and tacos on homemade tortillas, as well as a huge toppings and salsa bar with a variety of bottled hot sauces.
Alchemy Bar: Popular bar where mixologists (bartenders) dressed as pharmacists whip up concoctions from a restorative-sounding menu.
Cherry On Top: part candy store, part novelty and clothing shop where guests can cure their sweet tooth and choose their favorite and sometimes old-fashioned candies.
Already added from a previous refurbishment are the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, an extensive WaterWorks aqua park, “Serenity” – an adults-only outdoor relaxation area, and a Spa Carnival health and wellness facility.
Carnival Ecstasy cruises year-round from Charleston on four- to seven-day cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean. A one time, special 10-day Carnival Journey Caribbean cruise will cruise round-trip from Charleston on Nov. 5 -15, 2017 visiting St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Tortola, San Juan and Carnival’s newest private beach, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic.
