CruiseMaven.com is a travel blog focusing on cruises, trains, hotels and activities around the world.  I write about my personal travel so that readers are encouraged to try these experiences for themselves and feel comfortable in recommending them to others.

As a freelance travel writer, I am offered press trips and compensated or sponsored travel opportunities.  This may include hotels, ships, meals and land tours/activities.  It is my responsibility to present as accurately as possible, a true and honest description based on my experiences.  I am under no obligation to anyone or any company.  As I feel that travel is almost a necessity for our well-being rather than a privilege, it is important for me to give my readers a sense of comfortable anticipation in knowing that they are making an informed decision regarding their vacation arrangements.  Keeping in mind that reviews are “objectively” subjective, I would never knowingly mislead or misinform lest my credibility be jeopardized.

When I am compensated for writing about a particular ship, restaurant, hotel etc., it will be disclosed at the end of my article.
